Our newly refurbished and expanded gym was completed at the end of 2016. The 130-station gym has five distinct areas and caters for CV, free weights, fixed weights and stretching. As part of the refurbishment all the existing gym equipment was replaced. New additions to the equipment range include a Technogym Climb, Technogym Skillmill Console, Wattbike, Assault AirBike, Origin Cybex Spark and Origin Functional Rig.
Our brand new dedicated Strength and Conditioning Suite was completed in December 2016 and provides a private space for our performance squad to train twice a week under the watchful eye of our favourite S&C coach Luke Birmingham. Featuring five lifting stations, a three-lane plyometric track, a throws wall and a designated ‘rehab zone’, the new Performance Suite also offers video analysis technology.
Our brand-new Sports Arena with two netball courts is the home of Saints Netball. We train in the Arena, and play our matches here. In fact its very rare to not see a Saints Netballer gracing the courts. This state-of-the-art Sports Arena is also equipped with removable seating for the Saints Netball family to watch matches, as well as the new cameras for performance analysis.
The Krentz Dance Studio is an entirely multi-purpose space, home to a variety of sports club training sessions and fitness classes ranging from intense kettlebell workouts to relaxing yoga classes. For Saints Netball this is the home for all our Spinning Classess with legendary instructor Ross Whittaker. Its a love hate thing, but mostly love!
A dedicated Video Analysis Suite where all Netball squads can review matches both individually and collectively with the coaching team on the 75 inch interactive smart board. Footage is captured from both courts in the Arena using state of the art cameras. Squads can then analyse and review matches through Hudl Software programme within the Scott Lang Suite.
