At Saints Netball our bond off the court is just as important as our teamwork on it! We believe that through creating a tight-knit community we are able to work better as a team and this is visibile in our results.

We have a full calendar of social events, from weekly Wednesday nights to coffee catchups.  Integration between both teams and year groups is an important part of what it means to be a Saints Netballer.

Once you join the club at the start of the season, our social reps Hebe and Sophie will pair you with an older and more experienced netball girl. This girl will act as your mentor for the first few weeks and will be the first of many friends you make through the club. As we train together so often, it is really important that every girl settles in quickly to the programme, so our 'big sister' scheme is something we are trialling for the first time this year!

"I absolutely love the social side of netball because everyone makes you feel so welcome straight away! It’s so much fun doing events together but also when you’re going out with different people you always bump into netballers whether it’s on a night out or just in Tesco. Socials give you a chance to escape everyone and everything else and just let your hair down a bit. I especially loved alumni weekend because everyone got involved and it was so much fun just chilling out all day and then going crazy at night!"
